What are the fees and what is the process I need to follow to complete the Change of Registrant (Legal owner) for my domain name?

The change the registrant (ownership) procedure for domains varies according to each registry.

.au (Australian)
com.au, net.au, org.au, id.au, asn,au: To change the registrant (ownership) of your .au domain, name.com.au must reset your domain licence.

This effectively means your 2 year .au registration period starts from the day it's reset, and any previous registration period will be lost.

For information about the fees please download the Change of Registrant Kit. (If this link does not work in your browser you can navigate directly to name.com.au/pdf-library/).

Generic Top Level Domains (gTLD): com, net, org, info, biz: There are no fees however, we do add a year to the licence period so the new registrant must pay for this extra year.

.nz (New Zealand): There are no fees however, we do add a year to the licence period so the new registrant must pay for this extra year.

.uk (United Kingdom):You submit a change of registrant directly at the .uk registry. Please visit http://www.nominet.org.uk/registrants/maintain/transfer/. and submit the required documents.
