 How do I setup / modify my DNS?
NOTE: For this service to be active, you must ensure your domain is delegated to:
dns1.name.com.au
dns2.name.com.au

- Log in to your control panel by clicking on the 'Member Login' link at the top of the page or go directly to name.com.au/members/.
NOTE: If you only have one domain, or one subscription, go directly to step 3.
- Click Select Subscription from the top menu, then click on the Select link next to the appropriate subscription.
- Click Hosting from the top menu. You will be taken to the hosting account for the domain you selected in step 2 (if you only have one hosted domain, this will automatically be selected).
- Please go to Domain Overview > Domain Administration.
- Click on yourdomain and select the DNS tab, then DNS Records sub-tab.
- On this page, you can click the Add New DNS Record button to add A, CNAME, NS, MX or TXT records. Click here for more information about DNS records.
NOTE: If you do not have this level of control over the web server then you must use a Web Forward. Adding a Web Forward will allow you to specify the exact URL you want your visitors to see when they visit "yourdomain" or "www.yourdomain".
